# Deletion Protection

Deletion Protection ensures that the project cannot be deleted from project settings, only through ReadyMage support.

When Deletion Protection is enabled, the [Delete Project](/project-management/project-settings/delete-project.md) button will be disabled but you will be able to request the deletion from the ReadyMage team.
