Enabling or disabling Slack notifications

Slack notifications can be enabled or disabled at any time by toggling the switcher located under User Portal → Project → Selected Instance → Application Management → Deployments, then select the notifications Tab.

When this setting is enabled, all the slack channels displayed in the grid will receive notifications after each deployment event (Triggered, Success, Failed, Killed).

Add new channel

  1. Click the Add Slack channel button

  1. Enter a valid Slack channel name

  • Names should not contain blank spaces.

  • It can contain only letters, numbers, underscore (_), and dash (-)

  • Its length should be between 5 and 30 characters

  1. Enter the Slack channel address which should match an email format.

  2. Select which notification events should be sent to the provided email address. All events are selected by default.

  3. Click Save button

Edit channel

  1. Click the edit icon of the email you want to edit from the grid

  1. Edit the channel name

  2. Update the channel address

  3. Select the notifications that should be sent to the corresponding address.

  4. Click Save button

Delete channel

  1. Click the bin icon from the channel grid next to the item you want to delete

  1. Verify the channel that will be deleted

  2. Click the confirmation button (Delete Slack chanel)
